Building Peace
Young people and adults sat side by side, learning together. For many, this computer course was a first, the first time their fingers ever touched a keyboard. Screens felt intimidating. The journey ahead felt long. Learning was slow, marked by patience and small victories.
What made this class truly meaningful was not only the skill they gained, but the people sitting beside them. Individuals from two communities with a long history of tension, now sharing a table, a screen, and a learning space. Side by side. Learning together.
In the quiet rhythm of typing, practicing, and working on creative projects, something deeper was happening. Barriers softened. Curiosity replaced distance. What began as a computer class became a place of connection.
They gained more than a new skill. They encountered the heart of God’s call to love beyond differences, to learn together, and to build something new.
